Devette & Ford Insurance Agency, Inc. has been serving the people of Northern Michigan for over 100 years. With it’s office nestled in the lovely Village of Glen Arbor, the agency has provided insurance coverage for the residents of Leelanau, Grand Traverse and Benzie Counties for generations. Although our focus has been on our local tri-county area, we can and do provide coverage for many other counties and communities in Northern Michigan and around the state. Our Mission
At Devette & Ford Insurance Agency, our mission is very simple. We strive to serve the residents of the Leelanau, Grand Traverse, Benzie Counties, and all of Northern Michigan, by providing quality insurance products at a fair and reasonable price. We want to be the “go to” agency for our customer’s needs. By providing honest, professional and pleasant service, doing all we can for our clients, and going that extra mile, we hope the name Devette & Ford will always be a beacon in a cloudy sky.
Meet Our Team
We have a track record of success.
Currently at the helm is Tom Ingold, an Air Force veteran and Northern Michigan native. Tom serves as the Owner, President, and Agency Principal after having purchased the business over a decade ago from his father-in-law, George Ford. Insurance runs deep in the Ingold-Ford family. Keeping the ship on course, Tom has made sure all of his staff are licensed insurance agents. Currently, the agency boasts a combined total of almost 70 years in the insurance business.
