Upon completing his bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction from Michigan Technological University, Tom went on to join the United States Air Force. After a six year stint in the Air Force, Tom opted to get his builder’s license in the State of Michigan and work as a heavy construction project manager. Tom later decided to join forces with his father-in-law, George Ford, at Devette & Ford Insurance but realized the value of keeping his builder’s license active in order to give him that competitive edge. Tom has been working in the insurance industry since 1990 and is licensed in both property and casualty, and life and health. He has been the owner of Devette & Ford Insurance Agency, Inc. for over a decade and is committed to serving the local communities. Tom has been happily married to his lovely wife Sue since 1982 and together they have two wonderful children, Greg Ingold (Angela) and Sarah North (Brett). In his spare time, Tom enjoys working on cars and playing with his two dogs, Max and Winnie.
